Instructions & Tips/Tricks for Using the Map​
Searching for your property
  • Using the search bar find your property using the legal land description or civic address
    • Formatting to Search
      • Legal Land Description: NW-04-15-2E
      • Civic Address Format:
        • 123456 27 RD E or 123456 Road 27
    • If you are zoomed in your search won’t show
    • If you are unsure if your legal land description, turn the quarter sections layer on  and manually search for your property.
Print Tool
  • Chose your print template & give it a title.
  • Once you hit print it will start loading and you can find it under results
​Share Tool
  • Please use the print tool and save to a pdf
  • When using the share button, the drawings do not save
Draw your project plans!
  • Use the draw tool to showcase your project idea
    • Point – Single click at desired point on map
    • Line & Polygon – Click to place as many point as you want to draw. To end the shape double click on the last point.
    • Rectangles and circles – Click and hold to draw shape, let go to complete shape.
    • Eraser will clear all drawings
      • To delete only one drawing, use the select tool and then press delete
    • To measure, prior to using any draw tool, toggle on the measurement. Once the shape is completed measurements will show.
Measure Tool
  • Can only measure one shape or line at a time
  • To save measurements of multiple shapes, use the measurement toggles prior to drawing a shape
