Benthic Invertebrate Sampling

Benthic invertebrates are the bugs that live at the bottom of waterways. The EIWD samples for benthic invertebrates because they are excellent indicators of watershed health. The Benthic Invertebrate Monitoring project occurred from 2006-2010 and was partially funded by the Lake Winnipeg Foundation. To view our results please check out our Bioassessment Pamphlet.
