The Lake Winnipeg Foundation (LWF) launched a Community-Based Monitoring Network in the fall of 2015 to track phosphorus input levels into Lake Winnipeg from the land. The EIWD began collecting water samples for the LWF in 2017 at Fisher River, Icelandic River, Netley Creek, and Grassmere Creek.
