Stormwater Quality Sampling

Storm Water Quality in Gimli (2008)

In 2008 the EIWD partnered with the Rural Municipality of Gimli to conduct an assessment of Gimli's storm water drains. The purpose of this study was to investigate the quality of storm water and to determine which, if any, pollutants are entering Lake Winnipeg. Please see the 2008 Gimli Storm Water Quality Assessment Report to view the results, findings, and recommendations.

Stormwater Quality in Selkirk (2012-2013)

In 2012, the EIWD partnered with the City of Selkirk to conduct an assessment of Selkirk's urban stormwater drains. The purpose of this study was to investigate the quality of stormwater and to determine which, if any, pollutants were entering the Red River. Please see the City of Selkirk Stormwater Quality Assessment Report to view the results, findings, and recommendations.
